Wing Shya
香港ベースのフォトグラファーの方。
ファッション関連の写真も多く撮っているようですが、王家衛のスチールを撮っていたことで知りました。
密度が濃くて、平面なんだけれどその先の奥行き、空気の濃さや質、けだるさであったり、緊張感であったり、雰囲気と言ってしまえば簡単だけれどそれともまた違うなにかを撮っている人という感じがします。
視覚を通して別の感覚にも届くものがあるような。
デザインスタジオを持ち，グラフィックデザイン方面でも活躍中。こちらもなかなか素敵です。

A Hong Kong-based photographer.
Like many I came across his works via Wong Kar Wai movies.
Though two-dimensional his works have complex depth to them which appeals to the senses beyond sight. There's tension, texture and temperature in the air, as well as emotions. It's too easy to describe what he captures and communicates as atmospheric. But there is something that is very unique about his images that they stay in your brain and hard to forget.
He also has a design firm Shya-la-la Workshop.
